Barb and others,
The tappedin chat and AALPD portion of the site is great. I am trying to
figure out different ways I can use tappedin in IL for professional
development. Those of you who did not get a chance to check it out should
venture their. It is very easy to navigate and has a lot of interesting
possibilities for at-a-distance PD use.
Have a good day.

Hi Group,
If you are looking for a great online, FREE, way to do some at a distance
staff development then you have to investigate tappedin.org. I was
introduced to it by this listserv. I spent some time on it using the
AALPD page and last night and today set up my own page for my trainers. I
am going to encourage them to use it as a meeting point for their work
with IL programs. I might even set up a page for the national partners my
project has. Anyway, if you would like to chat about uses of tappedin.org
in staff development, contact me (directly if you'd like) and maybe we can
set up a time chat on tappedin or just exchange ideas via email. I don't
mind doing it here either, but don't want people who are not interested to
get frustrated with the convo.
Crystal
