Adults Learning Maths (ALM)- A Research Forum

Adults Learning Mathematics - A Research Forum is an international membership organization of adult numeracy researchers and practitioners with members from the UK, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, United States, Brazil, Sweden, Finland,and Spain among other nations.
The ALM meets annually in July where researchers, teachers, and other adult maths practitioners present research and best practices and network on issues of adult numeracy learning and instructions.
ALM-7 was held in the United States, in July 2000, co-hosted by NCSALL(Harvard University), Tufts University, and the Adult Numeracy Network. The theme of ALM-7 was "A Conversation Between Researchers and Practitioners" featuring teacher researchers as well as academic researchers.
