If you want to create a new topic area, go to the Main Page edit window, scroll down to the last topic, give your new topic a short name like "Science" or "Writing" or "English Language Learning" and use this format:


New Topic

[[AleNewTopic]]


After you save the edit window page, return to the Main Page and you will see your new link, in red. Select this and go to your new area page. Use the outline below to organize your new topic area

Topic Area

  1. Questions (big and or persistent researcher or practitioner questions)
  2. Research
    • Abstracts or summaries of research
    • Links to studies
    • Full citations of resarch not available online
  3. Key Issues
  4. Discussion
    • Summaries of discussions
    • Whole discussions
  5. Promising Practices
  6. Topic Area Glossary e.g. Technology Glossary or Basic literacy Glossary (optional)
  7. Resources
    • Bibliography (optional)
    • References to articles on research or professional wisdom in the topic area
  8. Other sub-topics relevant to the particular topic
