Bundling Posts in Digest Format

If the volume of discussion list posts in your email is too high, one option to manage the number of messages is to set your subscription to "digest" format.
Digest Format
This format allows subscribers to receive Discussion List messages
"bundled" into one or more emails per day. Digests are sent to you by
the server when a size threshold is met.
The subject line will not be topic-specific, so you will need to change
the subject line if you reply to a digested email. Also, subscribers
using digest format do not receive the information that was posted right
away. Because of that, this option may or may not suit everyone's needs.
To set your subscription to Digest Format:
- 1. Go to the PD Discussion List page
- (http://www.nifl.gov/mailman/listinfo/Professionaldevelopment).
- 2. Enter your email address in the space at the bottom "unsubscribe and other options."
- 3. This takes you to a page where it asks you if you want to unsubscribe or to log in using your password. Log in. (There is a button you can click to have your password emailed to you if you've forgotten it.)
- 4. Once you've logged in, you will see several options for customizing your subscription. Scroll down to "set digest mode". Click this to "on", then scroll down and click "submit my changes."
