Wow Jayme
That was very informative and something I have felt for a long time. Thank
you for sharing that. Make sure you network with me on Diigo. I am going to
follow you right now. Does anyone else use Diigo so that I can network with
them too?

Susan
I have a Diigo account as well as a Delicious Account. http://www.diigo.com/user/poochiesan I use Delicious more than Diigo, but I do have several groups on Diigo that I receive weekly links from. I haven't really used it to its full potential.

This was a little Aha! moment for me. Thanks, Patty. I agree with your
view of Ning and other social networking tools, but then I am in a similar
position of having my work focused on technology.
I too use Delicious for keeping my bookmarks. I was always feeling badly
that I didn't switch to Diigo because it's richer, more social-network-y,
can do highlighting and all that. But you're exactly right. I signed up
for Diigo groups and I get emails with info and links, so I get resources
out, but don't put much in. Delicious is easier for what I use it for -
saving my links. So - goodbye, guilt trip!
Maybe this is an example of how we choose the right tool for the job,
whether we're aware of it or not.

Ditto, on the guilt trip Marian. I feel bad when I just "use" a resource and don't contribute much, but we have to pick and choose how and how much we use these tools. I have the feeling I'm missing a lot of what Diigo can do, but, at the moment, I am getting what I need from it and I contribute to so many other things that I'm sure people can find me out there and my resources. (and I also know that you are a big contributor also, because you are one of the people I go to for resources!!) Thanks.
Patty
