Distance Learning AleLearnerPersistence
Pure distance learning has four essential elements: a) there must be a physical separation between the teacher and the student for the majority of the instruction; b) there must be two-way communications between the teacher and the student; c) the student controls the pace of the learning in most cases; d) ADA or other funding is awarded based on demonstrated student progress.
Blended or hybrid models of distance learning include some classroom or tutorial face-to-face instruction, as well as learning at a distance.
Some people refer to distance learning as Distributed_Learning
