Erik Jacobson

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey, teaching in the Early Childhood, Elementary and Literacy Education Department. Prior to this position, I worked as a Research Analyst at CALPRO in California. I taught community-based adult ESOL in the greater Boston area for ten years, where I became committed to emancipatory pedagogy and to resource development. I see this wiki space as a place where professional wisdom can be collaboratively focused and articulated on an on-going basis, and a place where we can share our hard-won insights and resources with everyone committed to improving the practice of adult literacy education.
