WE LEARN 2009
LET'S MAKE THE ECONOMY WORK FOR US
Abstract: How does the current economy affect us as women? How do these issues manifest themselves in our lives? What opportunities do we have? What are our visions of women as leaders for economic change? In this workshop, we will draw a set of 'problem trees' as a way to illustrate our ideas about problems/issues, opportunities, and visions about women and the economy.
Presenters: Alicia Pantoja & Laurie Sheridan
Presenters' Comments: It was a very nice experience to try a new popular education technique and have it work. People did not want to leave. The "Problem Tree" was a success. Look at the current issue of the Change Agent for an example of a Problem Tree.
