After the announcement of the President's proposed budget, South Dakota has also organized for action.  The South Dakota Association for Lifelong Learning (SDALL) sent communications to its members urging immediate action on this matter.  Sample letters, contacts, advocacy guidelines, letter writing guidelines, a telephone call script, and instructions have been distributed.  Furthermore, a SDALL calling tree has been created to report contacts and encourage action.  AEL programs have informed students of the proposed budget cuts and how to write letters.
