Thanks for this information, Osman. I think the hand crafts area may be of concern and possibly also wood techology. I am not sure in this context what wood technology involves -- is this cabinet-making, carpentry, or something else? I also am not sure, in this context, what nutrition technology is. Let's see what Elizabeth thinks about this before moving ahead on those learning project areas.
I also would like to better understand what the KOOP food factory makes, what "JOB styles" means, and what "opening a food market" means. (Is this about what is needed to open one's own small business? Is this entrepreneurship? And what is the relationship between this and nutrition technology?)
In all the projects, a key activity will be the students' interviews with those who have a career in the industry, who have worked their way up from entry-level positions, who can describe what the benefits are of working in the industry, and especially in the private sector, who can describe the steps along their career path -- education and work steps. Students should have a much clearer idea, after their research, what the careers are, what the work looks like, and what is needed to prepare for the career or occupation.
Also, can you give me an update, Osman on the employability skills learning projects? What is the plan for writing those? And what topics are being considered?
Thank you.
All the best,
David
