THE ADULT EDUCATION ALUMNI ALLIANCE: WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP IN ACTION

Abstract: In this workshop, women from the Adult Education Alumni Alliance will share their experience in building a learner-led network. Workshop participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the keys to success, challenges to avoid (institutional, organizational, individual) and the role of strategic allies in building student-led approaches to college transition and retention. Participants will share their own experiences and define next steps in developing learner leadership and peer support networks.
