Session: LGBTQI and the Language of Sexual Diversities - From awareness to action. Are lesbian and gay (bisexual/transgender/LGBTIQ) diversities and realities being addressed, silenced, and/or ignored in ABE/ESOL?
This interactive discussion will explore how educators understand and address sexuality issues in our programs, and consider connections to social justice education. A glossary of terms and bibliography of research and curriculum-related materials included.

- I assume this session will talk about the realities for students and teachers alike. Perhaps the glossary can be shared here and added to.

In order to contribute to the ALE Wiki, you first need to register. To do that, go to: http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Special:Userlogin
The next step is to become familiar with the wiki software and writing process. To do that please go to AleDirections and look at the short first section (Add and Change Text). You only need to learn a few formatting symbols and words, you don't have to learn a whole computer coding language.
