Session: Discovering Ourselves
Using the template of “I am from…” poems (L.Christensen), participants will write a “historical” poem of their lives related to identity issues and alliances building covered by the conference. Participants will create a collage/portrait of themselves/their past/their dreams using magazines and colored papers and the activity will be posted in such as way as to be a whole conference poem.

In order to contribute to the ALE Wiki, you first need to register. To do that, go to: http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Special:Userlogin
The next step is to become familiar with the wiki software and writing process. To do that please go to AleDirections and look at the short first section (Add and Change Text). You only need to learn a few formatting symbols and words, you don't have to learn a whole computer coding language.
Finally, to post a comment, you can select the "edit" tab next to the comments section on this page, follow the format that is already there, write your comments, then at the bottom of the page, select "Show preview." If what you have written looks good, select "Save page."
