Session: Negotiating Meaning and Power - Literacy in the lives of women in transition after incarceration
The presentation is about the development of political awareness and the sharing of power amongst a group of women who have recently been released from prison and the women who facilitate the theater group called Theater for Social Change [TSC]. The presentation will focus on the negotiations of meaning and power both in our daily lives and in our meetings.

- Transition has been recently used mostly for transition to college, so I'm interested to hear about this kind of transition. Are the facilitators also women who are transitioning?
