WYSIWYG ("What You See is What You Get") AleTechnology

A type of text editor that allows you to edit a document and see it as it will appear in its final version. Most word processors are WYSIWYG, because they show you on the screen what a document will look like when you print it. Most HTML editors (see HTML editor) also fall into this category, because they allow you to edit a World Wide Web document and see it as it would look on a Web browser.
