Web Page Fonts

Q. What is the best font to use for making web pages readable?
A. Many people think the answer is serif fonts, such as Times New Roman, since they have been shown to be easiest to read in the hard copy print medium, but research is showing that Arial or Verdana, sans-serif fonts, are easier to read in the screen medium, and ll pt and 12 pt text seem to be right for most people with normal eyesight.
