WinZip

From LiteracyTentWiki

WinZip AleTechnology

A program, published by WinZip, used to uncompress (see Compression) files after downloading them on a PC running Microsoft Windows. Many files are stored on servers (see Server) in a compressed format, making them take up less disk space, and reducing the time it takes for you to download them. WinZip decompresses these files, and makes them usable by your computer.
